Photo of the day: BY THE SHORES OF THE BROOKLYN BRIDGE

 By the shores of the Brooklyn Bridge,

By the shining big East River,
Stand the Roebling towers,
Daughters and sons of Germany.
Dark behind it rose the city,
Rose the dark and gloomy high rises,
Rose the condos with penthouses upon them;
Bright before it beat the water,
Beat the clear and sunny water,
Beat the shining East River water.
